Default Stash Busters January 2015, Week 3

Welcome to a New Year of Stashbusters! The purpose of this challenge is to use up items that have been in your stash for a long time. I will post a new layout every Monday to (hopefully) inspire you to dig out something old and get it on a page!
If you don't have the required elements, please don't go out and buy it...the idea is to use up the old to make room for the new! Use a suitable replacement instead and have fun!
Those who choose to participate and complete all the weekly challenges for the current month will go in to the stash buster "Hall of Fame."

It was great to see all the layouts for week two! Here's my page for week three and the requirements. Feel free to complete a one or two page layout.

Here's my layout: Horse Show

The requirements for this weeks challenge are:

1. Create a background for your page using scraps of paper. Go ahead and get creative! I used one inch strips of varying lengths of coordinating browns (cardstock and patterned paper). If you get overwhelmed with a whole page, try creating a journaling mat or photo mat or maybe a border.

2. Chipboard. After trying several different mediums, I decided I liked chipboard the best for this layout.

Please use this keyword when you upload your completed layout to the gallery Copy and paste it to make sure it gets to the right gallery: Stash15jan3

Here's the Gallery: Stashbusters week 3

If you're participating in the Scrapbooking Goals, don't forget to use the link: sbc15jan

Thanks for playing!

Here is my submission for this challenge: Stash - January 29 2014 by AnniePanda - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
I used strips and dug out a chipboard star as required. It was fun digging through my patterned paper bin to find papers. I picked polka dots, then selected some, cut random widths. I searched and found a little pack of chipboard and used the star - perfect for the stamp set I was using. Thanks for the fun challenge!
