Well, I'm new to the board and mostly just lurk. But I thought I'd jump in here to say "Hi!" to everyone.
I'm Shan, and I've been married to my best friend for almost 2 years now. We have 3 children; Fritzi (a 1.5 yr old German Shepherd), Zoie (a 5 yr old Blue Russian) and Chessie (a 8 mo old Maine Coon). We live in MI and both work for the same company.
I've been stampin and scrapping for about 15 years. I still have all the scrapbooks I made in high school and college (which wasn't all that long ago as I'm only 29). I recently, at the end of April, joined SU!. Before that I had hosted a party a few years ago and just recently finished up being in a monthly club. That's what turned me into a demo. I'm more of a hobby demo, but do enjoy getting outside orders, so I don't have to rely on myself to make minimums, although that's not difficult by any means. I have managed to make SIA all by myself. I'm really excited about all the great products, especially all the new colors and sets.
DH even got into it last night as I was making a few sets of coasters to display at my open house. Wait until he sees what I do with that vase sitting on my desk. He's gonna love it. He's even going to be a doll and serve snacks and drinks at my open house.
If he only knew how much time I spend on this site. It's so addicting and a great resource for new techniques and information.
I live in Michigan also so you know what keeps me busy when we have to much snow outside. Stamps!
I've tried getting my husband to help with stamping but he'll have no part of it but he did fix me up with a bigger room to meet with friends in and even built a stamp shelf for storing. His own deisgn and it works great.

Welcome Mrs. Mac! Isn't this a wonderful place?!!? I've been coming for a couple months now and I still find it just an amazing site. The gallery is so awesome. I'm still kind of a "lurker" although I am trying to post more often. Anyway, it's great to have you here!
WELCOME Shan!!!! I use to be a lurker too but finally came out from the corner a few weeks ago. This place is so much fun! I promise you that you will spend alot of time here checking out the galleries and all the beautiful artwork as well as the forums. Consider yourself warned...It's VERY addictive here on SCS!!!!
