Default Intorudction: Blind cardmaker/scrapbooker just getting started

Hi,
I am new to SCS and wanted to introduce myself. I really love this site, because with some techniques/cards come tutorials in writing. I am blind,so can't see pictures on the Internet (when I get a snail mail card or the like, I can feel it and someone can describe it for me, but this is impossible to do with every image online). I just started cardmaking and scrapbooking, but I scrap without photos but with text. For the actual cardmaking/scrapping process, I use all sorts of techniques, but mostly things that can be touched, like embellishments, 3D, etc.

I am wondering, as a new cardmaker/scrapper, am I allowed to upload work for feedback? I am not very tanlented at all and somewhere I read the gallery is for the talented members. Or should I ask for feedback elsewhere?

As for hte NSR stuff: I am 26, live in the Netherlands and am married with no kids. My othe rhobbies are mostly blogging, writing in general and Internet surfing in general. I'm currently enrolled in a psychology course through a distance learning university, but m thinking of dropping out. Well I hope this made for a good intro.

Thanks, and sorry for the typeos in my intro title. I only saw them now and can't edit my post. Ah, I'v ehearsd soemwhere that people know what a word should be if the first and last letter are in place. ;) So do I upload work for critique into the critique thread itself or in the gallery and link to it then?

Hi and welcome from New Zealand! You are right about knowing words if the first and last letters are correct so don't worry about typos. We all make them! I am glad you are enjoying the site and I hope you are encouraged to upload your creations.
Stephanie
