Smile Hi.

Hi to everyone at Splitcoast stampers, I justed wanted to introduce myself. I'm Babs & although I registered with Splitcoast some time ago all I've done before is search for inspiration & have seen some stunning cards on the site but now I would like to get to know some fellow crafters. I have been crafting/cardmaking for about 20 years & particulary like die cutting, stamping & playing with anything messy ie: inks. I've never joined a forum before so please bear with me but I look forward to chatting to other crafters out there.

Hi Babs and welcome from New Zealand! That is great you are finding out more about your felllow crafters. I have been card making for about 15 years, love stamping in particular and enjoy making backgrounds with paint, ink or anything else highly coloured! I have been painting in watercolours for about as long as I have been card making and am currently interested in zen doodling, art journalling and abstract painting with acrylics.

Hi Babs!!! Welcome from Texas - we are happy to have you here! Please just ask questions as you go - everyone is super helpful.

If you like inks, etc. check out our challenge forum - we have a fun mixed media challenge every Friday, and every day we have one or two challenges purely for inspiration.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything on the site!

Have you thought about joining Stampin' Up!? 20 years of crafting and cardmaking would make you a great demonstrator!

Hi, Babs, from Central PA in the USA! I hope you continue to view the galleries and comment to help or compliment each of us. I have found so many helpful ideas, hints, and affirmation here. I retired 2 years ago, and am happily spending time in many creative pursuits.
I am jealous that I cannot get 12 issues of a UK craft magazine! Or play in the contests! And there are special paper pads that are just too expensive to ship over here! But I manage a stash of crafting supplies to create cards, pics, and other hand made gifts for those I love.
Hope your experiences in crafting bring you joy!

Welcome Babs! I'm from the Southwest area of the US, namely Arizona.
I've been stamping a few decades as well and at one time was a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
I look forward to seeing you around SCS. The challenges are
great and help me to get stamping. If I must make a card for an occasion, I
head to the challenges and one of them usually inspires me.

Glad you said hello. Welcome!

Smile Thanks.

Hi. I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome here. I still don't know what or where I'm supposed to go to look for things but I'm sure I'll get there in time. This is the 1st time I have tried being involved in a forum so thanks for all the support. Babs.

Hello Babs!

I'm somewhat new here myself and I'm having a lot of fun discovering all the fun things at the site. I especially like the galleries and the tutorials because I need to "see" things with my own eyes to understand how to do new techniques. I'm not that great at taking photos so I haven't got a lot of cards in the gallery yet, but it's something I need to work on.
