Default Precious scrapping here on SCS!

Hello, I'm Kathi and a newbie. There are TONS of beautiful creations here but I wanted to post to thank you ladies for sharing your very precious scrap pages with us! I just viewed a page of Jenn Balcer's of her (?) baby in the NICU and I'm crying after reading the journaling. Tomorrow my son will be four and seeing this precious page.......oh my, here I go again! Is there a teary eyed emoticon?
I've been lurking a while but it it time for me to say Thanks to all of you for sharing those precious pages with us. It was a reminder of how we scrapbookers are doing SO much more than just letting our "creative sides out to play."
THANKS, Jenn for the reminder and touching my heart. And to the rest of you whose beautiful pages have inspired and moved me, too.

Welcome, Kathi. It's easy to forget how little they were, isn't it? My son started first grade last week, and I've only recently begun to do a real scrapbook of that time we spent in the NICU - both with Chandler and with my daughter, Adrianna. You get all choked up all over again looking at the pictures. . . but the kids are sooo fascinated when they see them! Thanks eversomuch for the compliment.

We're so happy to have you here, and can't wait to see YOUR creations.

Hey, welcome to SCS, Kathie! I know what you mean about looking at the scrapping pages. I usually am drawn to the pictures and journaling first, ooh and ahh, and only THEN "step back" and lok at the overall page. I feel privileged to peek into peoples lives like this. (especially, of course, the baby pics!)

Hugs,
Betsy

The pages refered to above are in Jenn's gallery on p. 13 & p. 14. I must be getting old cause the journaling was too little for me to see on the non-bath page. Come to think of it , that's probably good since the last thing I need is to get my nose all stuffed up again!
