I have a Genesis trimmer and really love it. You can find them here:
Genesis

It is not a cheap trimmer, but after throwing away all the cheaper trimmers I've bought, I would've saved myself money by buying the best the first time!

I hope that helps!

Hi and welcome from across the ditch! That is a shame Fiskars has let you down as I have several of their products and they have been fine. Hopefully Genesis will be good, or someone else will have a suggestion for you. Happy paper-crafting!

Hi. I currently use the Cricut paper trimmer (Amazon.com: Cricut 29-0012 Trimmer: Arts, Crafts & Sewing). It's nothing fancy, but I really like it and it's very inexpensive.

I agree! I've had mine for years (25 years) and it still cuts straight and blade is still sharp. I would buy it again if I had too. But I don't think I'll ever have to do that though. It was built to last. No plastic parts.
