Overwhelmed!

I joined scs because I have a question about "Papertrey Ink" products. I am a total novice when it comes to blogging and forums and such, so please forgive my lack of etiquette. I am looking to get started with some Papertrey Ink products but am overwhelmed by the choices. I am mainly interested in the stamps (mainly sentiments) that coordinate with dies. Can anyone suggest a good set to start with, or a good way to get started. Thank you

Hi Sandy! Don't be overwhelmed! You'll find tons of enabling - er, advice here!

I have some good links in my signature to get you started on the site. You may want to post your Papertrey question in our General Stamping forum where I'm sure people will help!

Also, if you click gallery at the top right, and then look on the left hand side you'll see a link that says search. Click that and put PTI in the search box and you'll see thousands of samples with that company's products. You can search for any company's products this way, or tools and accessories. Lots of inspiration!

The samples here in the gallery are the best. Find some cards you like here & see what PTI supplies they used & how they used them. You will often see the same sentiment over and over again perhaps, because some are just a good size, good font, or whatever that lend themselves to cardmaking. Start small and use what you have! Enjoy! It has taken some of us years to collect the MANY supplies we have!
