Hi Everybody!

My name is Jean and although I have been card-making for a few years now I'm new to Splitcoaststampers and blogging in general. I must say I have been slow to embrace all this new technology but I'm hoping it will connect me to others that really LOVE the craft of card-making like I do.

So I'm taking the plunge and hope to make some really cool friends!!!

Be patient with me though, technology and I aren't the best of friends yet.

Hi Jean and welcome from New Zealand! Don't worry, SCS was my first ever forum, and technology and I are at least on speaking terms now! And yes we all love paper crafts here - I am especially keen on stamping and card making. Do ask if you have any questions - we also love helping newbies!

Hello Jean,
welcome from the Netherlands.
Card making is my passion.
I'm a newbie myself and just recently joined SCS.
But in this short time the other crafters make you feel so welcome and love to help and share there knowledge.
I've your looking for a place to hang out with craft minded friends you will feel right at home.
As for the technology part, same here, I'm so not in to the new stuff.
I'm the kind of woman that pushes a button and hope for the best.
Have a great day.

Hi Jean, your Tri shutter for your dad is wonderful. Congratulations on being amongst Favourites if the Week. Hope to see you (and Elisabeth) in a gallery soon.

A great way to meet a few ladies is to join in a challenge, make a few comments and get some lovely comments back. I am not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to technical stuff, but I have learnt SCS is very hard to break LOL.
Night ladies.

Hi Jean, I am not sure if you are going to see this. I replied to your PM (private message), but I am not sure if you have seen it. Occassionaly I send PM's and they float off into cyber space LOL. I did click the "read receipt" button, so I shall keep my eye out for reply. I just don't want you to think I hadn't answered your questions.
