Thanks Gerry, just finding my way around now that I have finally joined. Great site, very easy to use.
I was in Boston this time two years ago. We loved it and had a brilliant time. We travelled from Boston to Montreal via all the scrapbook shops and craft shops as you do.

Working on tidying craft room, getting blog going and upto speed with this site for the moment and then intend to commit to challenges and swaps. Looking forward to that. Will keep an eye out for your posts for swaps later this month.

Hi Anne and welcome from New Zealand! My partner, Charlie, was born in Dublin! His family came out to NZ when he was 8. It sounds like you are well into a crafty new year! Enjoy the forum. There is heaps of inspiration and advice here!

Welcome, Anne! It's nice to meet you! This is, by far, my favorite place to spend time on the Web. There are so many talented and inspiring crafters here.
My mum and I spent 16 wonderful days in Ireland in 2000. Such an amazing country and the people are so kind. I look forward to going back with my dh & kids someday.

Hi Marcy,
Thank you for the warm welcome. I so agree with you that the talent and inspiration here is amazing. I love crafting but am not a natural papercraft person so a little help is needed. I get enormous help by just following the posts. I have wanted to create a blog for so long but kept putting it off for one reason or another. Having time over Christmas Holidays and being snowed in gave me plenty of time to just get on with it. I am so excited with it I feel like a kid at Christmas. Planning to try setting up my gallery here today. Fingers and toes crossed.
I love living in Ireland but I also love travelling too. I feel I get my little travel buzz every time I tune into Splitcoaststampers !

Welcome Anne! I live in Kentucky, in the south...It's great to have you join us on SCS. I am part Irish and have always wanted to visit Ireland. Someday it will happen!
I look forward to seeing your creations in the gallery. I have recently started joining a few swaps online again, they are so much fun! It's like getting gifts in the mail full of surprises and techniques. I love looking at what others create and thinking "I can do that". It provides a whole new level of inspiration.
Be careful...you will get sucked into this site and never wish to leave. There are many things to see and do. So many beautiful creations to look at and the tutorials available are fantastic. And chatting here is divine.
Enjoy and have a happy New Year!

Thanks Stephanie,
When I was young I had some school pals who moved to New Zealand. I often wondered how they were. It was in the early 70's. My brother in law is from New Zealand and they are now living in Sydney, Australia with their two sons. He moved to New Zealand from Germany when he was quite young too.
Thanks for the warm welcome here.

Hi Tracy,
Thanks for the welcome from Kentucky. I am so chuffed to get responses from around the world. This forum makes the world such a small place. I love the tutorials. I keep jumping from one project to another.
