Newbie in East Texas
A friend of mine went to a SU party and the consultant referred her to this site because she was looking for a specific technique, my friend then told me about it and I've been lookint at the techniques and decided to join. I have a ton of SU stamps, I love them and the designs. Stamping is my PASSION- I used to just make cards, but now I use them in scrapbooks and for altering thing for gifts. Last night when I read the masking technique, I thought, "DUH, now why did I never think of that" I am so glad to have this resource, what a talented bunch.
I live in the East Texas Piney woods, but I'll be moving to Houston, If my house sells- LOL- My husband and I have three children and two dogs.
My Name is Kareena-

Thanks for the Welcome!!
I am in Henderson, which is on Highway 79, about 30 miles west of Tyler and south of Longview and 70 miles east of Shreveport, LA and 30 miles north of Nacogdoches-
Any SU consultants near by? I need to place an order.....

Kareena---Welcome to the best site ever. You will love it here and get addicted like the rest of us. I know just where Henderson is. Have been there different times, going other places in Texas. In fact we have camped there overnight. Do you know where the Church of Christ is on 79? The campground is just past it a little way on the right. Church is on left. It is up on a hill. We have been to church there different times. Don't you also have a Catfish King or something like that" We also like to eat. HaHa. Janet

Hi Kareena,
My name is Lisa and I'm from Tyler (my family lives in Whitehouse). My DH is in the military, so we are living overseas right now.
I'm sorry...I don't know any SU! Demos in your area. If you can't get in touch with your friend's demo, maybe you could put an ad in the paper or something like that. That's what some people do here.
Have fun on SCS. It's an awesome place to be!

We don't have a catfish king anymore- it's an ocean palace-
My friends demo is in Laredo - a FULL 500 miles one way away - LOL
I want someone local that I can bug or tag along to parties!
When I want to go to the city, I go to Tyler, I like it a ton more than Longview!
Y'all are making me feel soooo welcome!
Thanks!
