New from Northern California
Hi. I've been a member of SCS for a while, and recently became a SU demonstrator. I'm excited and all, just having a hard time getting bookings and workshops. Anyone have any good ideas? Thanks JA

Hello and welcome to SCS and SU! Have you tried hostessing your own workshop or stamp camp. I try to host one stamp camp every quarter. I still don't get a lot of bookings, but I usually get 1 or 2. Try inviting family, friends, co-workers and ask them to bring at least 1 person. You only need $100 a month to meet your quota for the quarter. Good luck!

Hi there and welcome to SCS! I'm not a demo yet, but when I do become one I'm planning to have an open house to let all my friends and family know that I'm now an SU! demo. I think people do things like make and takes and technique demonstrations at the open house. Some also take sign-ups for a monthly hostess club. Somebody help me out here if I'm mis-informing or if there are other ideas. Best of luck getting your stamping business started!

Hi and welcome! I am from NoCal, too.
Have you joined the demo group yet? (I'm not a demo but I know they have a lot of good ideas there.)
Good luck!

Hello and welcome from Ohio. This has been a slow time for me also. I am planning on hosting a stamp camp in October. Also want to check with our local YWCA about classes. Hope this helps.

Welcome to SCS!
The site is HUGE, and lots to explore!
I highly recommend reading all the STICKIES (posts permanently stuck at the top of any given forum) in the forums prior to exploring to give you a feel for what's what!
Enjoy! As a new demonstrator, you'll find the demonstrator only forums of particular help. Stickies at the top of the Start Here forum will lead you to the info you need to join.
Welcome, and best wishes for success in your SU! endeavors!
