Talking New Demonstrator: Need tips on first workshop!!!

HI Everyone!!!
I am a brand new demonstrator and my upline is in Illinois. I have not been able to visit anyone's workshops. I have my first workshop/party Sept. 18th. I am looking for any and all tips for an agenda, projects, games, etc. I want to keep it simple.

Some of the sets I thought I might use are.....

Trick or Treat
Merry
Tag Line
Loads of Love

These are the ones I want to focus on for my first party. Maybe not all of them but at least 2.

I want to do some Christmas projects to get a jump start on Card making for the holidays. I might do something for Halloween as well. There might be some younger girls with their moms at the party as well.

I would appreciate any ideas you have for me to keep it simple and FUN for my first party. I don't want to be overwhelmed.

Thank You - dragonfly07

Default New Demonstrator

Hi .. welcome .. and Good luck...I agree with simple so not to scare anyone off if they are new...when I first saw staming things I always said I am never gonna stamp...just too much work...now my daughter ( who is a demo) likes it that I am over that..and now I am addicted...
How about a bookmark with the Halloween theme or something greared to little ones and then something "PRETTY" fot the ladies...

Hi, I'm a new demo too, so I will be interested in the ideas you get! But I thought maybe you could make a little halloween candy bag with a stamped topper? Just a clear cellophane bag with a little stamped tag on top and some candy corn inside? Good luck!

Default Demo Only?

I noticed in one of the posts someone mentioned a demo only site. Is it here or do I need to look somewhere else? I am a new demonstrator and would love to check this part out.
Thanks,
Cindy

I think sour cream containers are super cute, super easy and require very little supplies. I'm going to use them at my next club meeting and use Halloween stamps to make it kid/Halloween friendly. YOu can do a search in the forums for directions on how to make them. Although, they are SUPER easy - roll up a quarter sheet of cardstock (along the long end) seal shut and then seal one end, insert candy or whatever and seal the other end in the opposite direction of the first end. YOu can also use a crimper to crimp the sealed ends for a more finished look. I'm sure I didn't explain that very well and there are much better directions somewhere on here if you search.
