Default Just retired!

Today is my first day of retirement and I want to become a creative, skilled scrapbooker and card maker. I know I will find inspiration and great mentors here. I have looked at this site for a couple of years but will now have the time to actually participate. And making new friends will be a bonus!

Hi and welcome from New Zealand! Congratulations on your retirement. I am retired too and it is fabulous to have so much extra time for crafting. We are all your friends here!

I'm so jealous of you retired ladies! I just hit 30 last month. Is that retirement-ready yet? :p

Hi Makalah - you can be working towards it at 30, definitely! I retired at 46.

I think I'd need to win the lottery. Now if only I was spending money on lottery tickets instead of stamping supplies... :p

wow - 46?! that's amazing!

Yes, I was lucky to be able to retire so early. I worked for a government department which had a generous retirement scheme.

Congratulations to you! I've been retired for about 8 years and I love it so much. I spend a lot of time cruising around on these boards and have made some lovely friends, as well as finding inspiration for cards and other crafts.

Thumbs up

Congratulations on your retirement! All of my friends that have retired say they're busier now than when they were employed. But for some reason they seem a lot happier! ;)

Enjoy!
