Default I have a secret and want to share it.

First, let me introduce myself. My name is David Haner and I work for Kingdom Inc. I am the founder, product designer, and operations supervisor of the Wood Products Division.

Many of you have purchased our LW100 tape storage racks for organizing your tools, pads, and whatever else will fit into it. A little while back, a meeting was held for re-designing this rack. We had several ideas on how to make them look more "updated"... meaning taking away the wood slats/inserts. This would , in theory, lower our costs and raise our profits (as the margin is very small on this unit).

The next meeting was true cost analysis and marketing. Cost was on target. Next came marketing and they, well, were not happy at all. It appears some of them are stampers and use the rack... a lot! Changing the design would destroy the storage function. They voted against the change... it was up to me. Thanks.

After checking with my health care provider, I decided to back away from this less then smart move...

The design of the LW100 will stay as is! In fact, any feedback from the stamping community will be personally welcomed. Seeing the racks used for something totally different then what I designed them for is a darn good feeling. Thank you.

Would that be the 16 inch square unit I've been reading raves about?

Good suggestion, Daven. I added links to the products I was discribing above. Here they are again:

LW100 - Unfinished
LW100NF - Natural Finish
LW100F - Walnut Finish

David,

Honestly, I haven't purchased one 'YET'.... but as long as they hold my ink pads, I'll be investing in at least 2. Definately keep the design the way it is!

Default What size pads fit these?

Can anyone tell me what size stamp pads these will fit. They look great!!! Would they fit the spectrum pads or other SU pads?
If anyone has these what are the deminsions of the actual slots?

Hi David!

Great looking product at a great price! Thanks for posting the links.

Have you considered making the changes you were proposing for the tape storage rack, but also keeping the existing product and marketing it to the crafting/stamping world? You'd get the better profit margin on the tape storage that you were aiming for, but would also open up a whole new market for your company with the potential of increased sales! Think ribbon storage racks, rubber stamp storage racks, paper storage racks.....

Sitting on my desk (and floor and walls) are blueprints for a bunch of new products... some I was considering using for basketball practice. I am taking a second look at them.

Thanks,
Dave

I don't have this exact product but the one I have fits our pads great. I took the horizontal slates out of the bottom row to fit some of our fatter pads. It's a great price on Kindom.com.

Awesome! I would be more than happy to be a 'test user' for any new crafting product you come up with!
