Default How do you crop images for posting?

Hi, I have browsed Splitcoast for quite a while, and have my favorites gallery. I am new to posting and have yet to upload. Can you tell me the best way to take pictures of images and crop for posting?

I downloaded the resizer from Microsoft, it makes resizing SO EASY!
After you download the resizer, I download my photos to my computer. Turn you photos rightside up then right click, you will have the option to resize. Select small and it will be the perfect size to load to the gallery.

Thank you to both of you: McStamper and thesachsgirl. I will definitely be looking into all of the tips you provided.

Also, to McStamper, I love your chicken avatar!!! It's the best!
