Smile Hi from UK

Hello everyone.
This looks like a great place to be for ideas and learning more about my latest love of cardmaking.
I am between 5 and 6 decades, [too near to the 6] and will eventually have to give up on expecting to gallop around the countryside on my horse Kudos - hence meandkudos. We have already had a 3 year "holiday" and it certainly doesn't look as though I am going to wake up one morning, sporting pigtails and ready to swing up onto the saddle and play at being Calamity Jane again. Perhaps I should accept reality and settle for the occasional hack?
This is where the new hobby fits in. The only question is, which direction do I want to take? I want to try everything, like - yesterday!
We have had the house up for sale for several months, and, ever the optimist, I started packing so long ago, including much of my crafting needs.
We are anticipating moving abroad, and expect to live in a caravan while we get sorted. Most probably I won't be able to access the internet so often, so I am frantically searching for ideas to download and travel light!
I do particularly like the Spirelli/embroidery designs.
My main objective is to bring together my love of the computer with what skills I have practically, into creating mixtures of techniques.
If ever I feel good enough, I should like to post my cards, but I am nowhere near that level of confidence yet. When I am, well watch this space!
Are there many European members here?
Take care everyone, meandkudos
