Default Hi everybody!

Hi. My name is Lori and I'm from from Indiana. I used to be a technical writer but now I am on disability for migraines, so I have lots of time on my hands for crafting.

I just recently decided to get back into paper. I mostly like making grungy flowers and various little do-dads. I'll find my niche eventually. Untill then I will hang out here and keep learning!

I'm a little worried the industry might to be in slowing down. Is that true?  Also, I'm looking for vintage paper from Maja Designs but can scarcely find a sheet and they haven't written back. Do manufacturers all restock at a certain time of year? Is there hope? Please say yes. lol

I look forward to meeting you and seeing more of your creations.

Welcome Lori.  The industry is NOT in decline.  There are many new stamp companies and older ones that are still creating.  Keep hanging out here, ask questions, and enjoy yourself.

Lori, Welcome to SCS.
I was not familiar with Maja Designs, so I looked them up. They have beautiful papers! The Rubber Buggy carries this company. They also carry papers by Stamperia which reminds me of some of the Maja papers. Perhaps you would like them also. I have never ordered from them, so I know nothing about their service. You might want to also post your question about the Maja papers to the "General stamping talk" forum under "Stamping Stuff." You can also ask if anyone has experience with Rubber Buggy. The folks here are so friendly and there's a wealth of knowledge among this group. You've come to a good place!

Thank you so much. Yes, Maja papers are beautiful, with deep color. I only have a 6x6 pad that I think I actually bought from Rubber Buggy. I've been waiting, hoping for a spring release of 12x12 pads. I think it's a small company inS

Welcome to SCS!

I have ordered from Rubber Buggy. It was fine. Good luck with the paper and definitely hang out! Check out the tutorials and challenges! Put your spin on them!
