Howdy Stampers and Scrappers!
I was directed to your site by a SU demonstrator. Looks pretty cool! I have been around the stampin' arena for many years, and I must say...this is a pretty awesome site you all have here.
Although I litterally have 1000's of stamps, I have been away from stamping for awhile due to the decline of stamp stores, clubs, groups, and internet sites in my area. By joining your group, I hope to find the inspiration that I need to get back 'into' it.
My styles of stamping vary: traditionally, I like artsy and collage stamping, followed by the use of Asian designs. More recently, I have been *collecting* marine life themed stamps. Tonight, I received my set of 'Nature Prints' from the Spring Mini SU Catalog. I ordered this set primarily for the Sea Turtle and Rock Fish stamp. I guess I should fess up to my new found love of marine life stamps: I'm an obsessed, addicted, Scuba Diver! When I'm not working, you can find me, more often than not...under water!!! Night or Day, doesn't matter.
Because I have sooooooooo many stamps, and sooooooooooooo much paper (another addiction) I want to start making cards for shops or clubs to sell them where the money raised will be donated to the USC Hyperbaric Chamber on Catalina Island.
Well enough about me. I look forward in getting to know all of you and sharing ideas, and maybe meeting some fellow stampers in my area???
