I'm new to the forum, in the past I only looked at the excellent tutorials and didn't even realise, that there is such a big community going on.
I'm from Frankfurt, Germany.
I read almost exlusively in english (all those wonderful crafty blogs), so I can understand you quite well, but my writing... I really hope that even if my grammar's appaling, and I use words incorrectly, that you get the gist of it.
Whew, that's the third time I wrote this text. I'm really happy to be here, but it'll take some time 'till I can post without sweating blood and tears.
Your writing is just great - don't worry about that at all!
Please don't be nervous and ask a lot of questions - everyone is very helpful! I have some great starter links in my signature to help you find your way around, and you can always ask me if you need help with anything at all!
Our Creative Director - Beate - is German also, and she can help you if you need a translation!
Hi Celestina and welcome from New Zealand. Your writing is excellent so don't be nervous. I will be visiting Germany for the first time this August, my partner and I are going a wedding in Lorrach.
Stephanie

hey Stephanie,
Thank you for the warm welcome.
I just had to google Lrrach, never heard of it before. But it looks very nice online ;-) Will you be staying for a vacation here? If you're making trip halfway around the world you should take advantage of it.
Hi Celestina,
Your English is just fine, better than some people who have lived here their entire lives. I have 2 "adopted" daughters who live in Germany. Someday I am going to visit them. We will get to see them in September when the oldest will be getting married in the US.
Just wanted to say welcome and Happy Stamping.

Hi Celestina, welcome to SCS! Have fun and don't hesitate to ask!
Btw: I am German, too :-) if you have any questions, you can also send me a private message if you feel more comfortable to ask in German...if I can help, I will happily do!
And see: my English isn't perfect, either *lol*...so don't worry..everyone here is so kind and helpful!!!

Stephanie, can I come and congratulate you? I am living 15km from Lrrach!!!!!!! :-) :-) :-)
Hi Sylvia - how amazing you live so close to Lorrach! Sorry to have misled you but it isn't my wedding! My partner's brother moved to Lorrach to be with his German girlfriend and they are getting married. It is a wonderful excuse to go to Germany though. We will have a week in Lorrach and a week in Berlin.

We will have two weeks in Germany, between Lorrach and Berlin. Because Lorrach is so close to the Swiss and French border we will take day-trips to those countries too.

Thank you Barbara for welcoming me here. And thanks for the reassurance. I guess it's my inner perfectionist that says: "If you can't do it perfectly, don't do anything" *growl* But I'm getting better ignoring him everyday. My new mantra comes from the nester: "It doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful"

Hallo Sylvia, vielen Dank fr das superliebe Angebot.
There's so much content here in the forums I don't think I'll have questions for the next two years or more. That's how long it'll take to read all that.

Stephanie that sounds great. I haven't been to Berlin since I was a small child. I absolutely have to visit again. I'm whising you a great time here.
