Default Hello all

Newbie here from BC/Canada..
I have a question, and I am sure someone can help me here-
I purchased a bag of used card crafting items locally and there was a CM wavy cutter piece; but I do not know how to use it and is there more pieces I need to get or just use a small blade cutter with it??

thanks
C

Hi C and welcome from New Zealand! I can't answer your question unfortunately, but I am sure someone will be along who can, or who will point you in the right direction.

Hello and welcome to SCS! About the wavy cutter piece, here is a CM paper trimmer on ebay that says it is a wavy paper cutter. Does your piece look like it?

CH56 - I have that cutter. You should have only a blade along the tracks with that cutter. Mine was blue with the yellow blades as pictured on the e-bay post supplied by Bugga in OK. There were no other parts to the trimmer. You have two lengths between the waves to work with. Just experiment, especially if you want to cut a trimmed piece twice. By shifting your paper but using the same blade path, you can get some interesting edges.
I find it useful now to make the snow scenes at the bottom of winter cards. With both wave depths, they made for some nice dimension as long as they have a bit of sponging on the wavy side edge to set it off. My punched trees from SU nestle nicely between the layers!
I used to use it for scrapbook borders and to make a sort of ric-rak trim for cards.
If you don't have those blades, they can be pricey...Diane

Hello C,

Welcome from the Sonoran Desert. I hope you enjoy being a part of the SCS community. There are a lot of friendly, helpful paper crafters here. It looks like a few of them helped you out with the question you had.

Hope to see you around the galleries and forums.
