Default Been gone a long time

I've been gone from here and stamping for a few years.  Don't even know where to start again.  I know things has changed.  Any ideas where to look to start.  Life can really get in the way of your creativity.

Welcome back! I suggest looking in the gallery at the new cards added. I find just looking when not having any ideas helps. Maybe try a tutorial or a challenge. Enjoy the newness and giving things a try.

Welcome back!

By where to start-do you mean here in the forums or about actual stamping?

Me, too!  I think I've decided to just choose an old favorite stamp set and black ink.  Look at my calendar to see who has the next birthday.  Stamp simple, color with colored pencils, use my blender pen, choose some coordinating colored paper to match coloring, then mail it.  Maybe by just beginning SOMEWHERE again I can find my joy.

Welcome back!  When I need a place to start, I CASE a project, copying it exactly as it is, or as close as I can get using what I have.  That gets me into stamping without forcing myself to be original.  For some people, that is how they stamp all the time!

And I'm not sure really how much of the basics of stamping have changed.  Sure, new tools have come out but at its core, the art is still stamps, paper, and ink.  So don't feel intimidated or out of the loop!  This site is a lovely place so just jump in.

Nice to see another person wanting to rejoin the fun and satisfaction of stamping again. It has been two or three years for me as well.

Don't want to hijack your thread but I'm wondering if your question has to do with comparing the products you own to those that are current but likely with a new name?
