Anyone from southern WV?
New one here. Ran upon this site by browsing and thought that it looked pretty helpful. I haven't done any stamping and have been wanting to try for a while now. I hope to learn some thing from this site. I just wanted to tell everyone HI!  |

Welcome! I'm in St. Louis, but have many relatives and ancestors from Calhoun County, WV... Grantsville near Parkersburg to be exact! Where are you in WV? It is a beautiful state!
If you would like to learn more about stamping, ask away! You might also be interested in checking out the "challenges" here on SCS. Nearly everyday, one of the challenge hostesses (I am one) post a "challenge". A challenge is really just a way to get us all stampin'. I do the TLC, the Technique Lover's Challenge. Every Monday I post the directions to a particular technique along with some sample cards. Anyone so inclined can make a card with that particular tech. and post a link to their card within that thread. There are other challenges on the other days. They are all tons of fun and a great way to 'grow' and learn. Click on forum (upper right corner) and then on Splitcoast Challenges to see the current challenges.

WV?! I'm going next month!
Hello! I grew up in (and next month, visiting) southern WV!! I live in AZ (5 1/2 yrs) and NC before that. I LOVE stamping!! I've finally joined the SCS Fan Club after 'lurking' on this fabulous site for months! I've been a demonstrator since Jan. '05. When I visit WV next months, I'm doing an open house for my mother and her friends! Only one person had heard of Stampin' Up! How long have you been stamping? Oleander

That's just it. I haven't stamped anything before. I thought that if I join this board that maybe I'd learn something. I'm really interested in making cards and I've been scrapbooking for about a year now. Very addictive!! |
