Hi there, my name is Julie, I just love rubber stamping especially collage, i have a few friends in here, and joined through a link from one of their emails. I am in down south of Victoria Australia. SAHM to a 14yo feral boy, who keeps me on my toes. I love my craft room, and spend most of my time in there. Rubber stamping, then scrapbooking then sewing are my passions in life - the housework will get done 5 minutes before hubby gets home?? I Have been having a good look around the forum, and looking forward to some chatting. there are some great techniques in here, some i knew of and others, never heard of, so I am willing to give anything a go. I love to try new things. here is my webshots address

Thumbs up Hello All

My name is Laurie Puite and my partner is Chris Wolters. Chris is also my niece, we have always been close. I had her a lot as a baby as her mother worked and my brother was in Vietnam. I use to be a demo 3 yrs. ago, but couldn't afford it no more. Couldn't stand not doing what I love best so became a demo again and going all out to start my business. I have a son who has MD who takes quite a bit of my time, and my husband and I have guardianship over my nephew who is Downs, and type 1 diabetic.
Our first open house is Oct. 25 we sent out all the invitations yesterday and already have 3 replies, and 1 may be bringing a friend. It's a start. Even if only 3 show up, I would be happy cause the word will get around, and I forbid to give up. I need the business in order to keep doing my stampin' habits going.
Well I hope you will all visit my blog and let me know what you think. What I could do to improve it. Critism helps us grow. I would be happy for any advise. Thank you all, and I am so glad to be a member of the stampin' Up forum.

Talking New to SCS as well

I am new to SCS as well. I have been collecting card stock and stamps and other goodies from Stampin'up and all over Japan (We are stationed here with the Air Force) for years. I love the parties, but only recently held a World Card Making Day event on Oct 4th.
The ideas for the techniques I found on SCS and loved them. It was so exciting to see 10 people take one technique and change little bits of it. The cards were awesome. We made 40+cards, all going to an undisclosed deployed location. There were American and Japanese ladies all making cards. Some were experts and others were novis. We had a blast and I am looking at the possiblity instructing classes or starting a card making group at our local Arts & Crafts Centers showing various techniques.
I am addicted to SCS. I check the sight religiously for new techniques and search for others.

Hello everyone! I've just signed up for SCS today. I've been on the site now for about 3 hours and can't stop looking at all the Forums. I am totally overwhelmed right now but I really like the site. There are so many great projects, templates, ideas, PEOPLE, and card examples (photos in the Gallery) that I may never be able to log-off!

Anyway, my name is Sandra and I'm a Stampin' Up! demonstrator from Oregon. I've been a "hobby" demonstrator since I began several years ago but after Convention this year I vowed to concentrate on making this a viable business. Viable = profitable. I could use all the encouragement that you want to send!

Looking forward to 'chatting' with you!

Hi Ladies. Welcome to all of you. I've been "on" SCS for three years now. For the first 2-3/4 I "took" from SCS - mostly ideas for cards to case. It wasn't until recently that I decided to try to give back. I've started a gallery, joined RAK, done some challenges, and am participating in card swaps. I'm also trying to give feedback when I can. I'm sure you will just love this site. There's a lot to discover (I didn't see much of it until just recently).

I'm new to the scrapbook/cardmakin craft, I went to a Stampin Up workshop and then my sister hosted a stampin up party. I am now addicted, I am a jewelry maker and have done well selling my own creations, but am thinkin about signing up as a demo for stampin up, even though haven't been stampin long, my first purchase w/my rep was over $200! I'm thinkin maybe I should sign up just to get discount, I know my family would purchase product from me too. Kinda of scared to do workshops

Red face Hi, My name is Maya and I am addicted to paper crafts.

Welcome MsMary, gsparkles, and Stampin_Sue. I give you credit. I just looked at (and took ideas from) Splitcoast for about three years before I ever posted anything! I finally felt I should give something back. I now have a gallery. I've put cards on and then taken some back off because I decided they weren't "good enough" for the gallery (by my standards, probably no one else's). I've signed up for several card swaps (they are addictive and are in the "forums" section and two monthly card clubs (one is open to new members the other one is closed and taking people for their waiting list). I've done a few challenge cards but I don't get to them as much as I should (the challenges are found daily via the Home page right side as you look at it). I joined RAK recently and have applied to join Divine Secret Sister (DSS).

At any rate, welcome!.

Be sure to join the demo-only group. That way you'll have access to all the demo-related threads and the demo-only galleries. You can go Forums at Splitcoaststampers to get all the details about joining.

At the very top of the page it says "forums" click on that. The demo-only forums will be at the very top.

Hi I am new to SCS...I have been stamping for about 3 years now and I am totally loving it...however...the comments about keeping your eye on your credit card is so very true LOL. I have an entire cupboard full of stamping supplies and I keep looking for more. I just joined Ebay as well ... I have found some really great deals on retired Stampin Up stamps. I am looking forward to finding out more from everyone here!

Hi Crazygram,

Under 'resources' there is a technique for stamping on domino pieces. Try that on your ceramic tiles. As long as you scuff up the tile, it should work. Good luck.

Smile Hello! I am new to SCS!

Hello, everyone! My name is Junko and I am so excited to be introduced to SCS! I have been a SU demo only for two years. It has been for my personal pleasure but I wanna do some more! Specially to help some fund raising opportunities. When I was a young girl, I really loved stamping. As I grew up, I never imagined I would be back to stampin'! I think God remembers everybody's dream, even we forget ours.

Right after I created my handle name, I wanted to change it so bad. But if I could stamp God's love on each of my project, that would be wonderful! And I started to like this name really much. Thank you for reading! Peace be with you all!

Default I just signed up on SCS

I have been a stamper for under a year and am enjoying it quite alot, I just wish I could find more time for it around 3 kids hubby and all the stuff goes with that..lol My sister recently became a consultant and seems to be enjoying it too. She emailled me the link to this site for project ideas. WOW !! They are all great !! Bit about myself. I have 3 kids 11,5,20months I live in a small town in BC CANADA. Stay at home mom who keeps herself busy between volunteering at the school, delivering newspapers, and being the taxi to all the extra curricular activities. If I could only find time to stamp...lol

Look forward to learning lots from here and meeting some good friends.

I'm new to SCS. Am not a Demo for SU! but am a Consultant for CM.

I love to stamp, go to crops, make cards, and page layouts.

I do have friends that are SU! Demos though. The Stamp Club I'm in actually lost 3 of its members because they choose to sign up.

I attend their classes/crops but am still loyal to my SU! Demo.
