Default What sells well at craft shows?

Fellow Stampers~

I am going to participate in a craft show the end of April. This is something new to me, so I was wondering if any of you have ideas for hand-stamped items (other than cards) that sell well at craft shows. Any ideas would be appreciated.

TIA,
Zoe Barnard aka ChucklesB

Did a 3 day one in Dec. and all we sold were tags sets, a few packs of cards, notepad sets, maybe 1 individual card, 2 snowmen soup mugs and that was it. Didn't even make enough to pay for booth space. Thank goodness a couple of other gals went in with me. People just don't LOVE handmade cards like we do.

Default craft fair ideas

I do better with packaged items - packages of cards; a nice stamped package of coaster, cards, bookmark, etc.

I got the impression that folks were looking for gift items that didn't cost a lot. (They wanted to spend $5 for something that looked like it cost $20.)

Along the lines of wanting to spend $5 for something that looks like it cost $20, I would suggest making/decorating candles. You can buy them for $1, $2, or $3 at Michael's but they look like they cost five times that amount when they're stamped.
