I remember after my first post (not that very long ago) I was in AWE of how this sight knew I collected cardstock. I couldn't believe that SCS knew that much about me!! LOL
Helen
You really made me LOL. I had the exact same reaction !! How did they know that !!!
I'm glad I'm not the only one without a life wondering when my rank would change. ;-) So, when will I become a glitter goddess? I'm atleast six over the minimum. Can't wait to move up the ranks with all the others on here!
Ok, now I am really embarrassed. I thought it was cool that you "knew" I was a CS collector. I haven't posted much because I'm not that computer savvy. So tonight I thought I'd look around at stuff (besides the gallery.) I actually wanted to know how to upload pictures.....guess I'll need to post more!
cass
Good to know what all the names mean... it is amazing how many fun and wonderful people are on here posting and sharing ideas.... I just joined and DH is wondering when I am coming to bed tonight.... who knows there is so much to look at!!!
I am so glad I finally have an answer for the "Cardstock Collector" mystery!! I have spent almost an hour trying to figure out where in the heck that came from!! I figured I must have been brain dead when I filled out my profile information! Yay....mystery solved, and it wasn't something that I had done!!!
Holy Cow. I just registered today. My SU Demo told me about the site last week for the first time. I'm hooked. But it looks like it will take me a while to learn and read everything!
I'll probably stay a Cardstock Collector for a little while, but I'll move up soon!

ha ha I think we all have that same problem at first
Somewhere along the line no one ever considered there may be male stampers. I don`t mind being a rubber obsessor but I`ll have to quit posting before I reach Glitter Queen:rolleyes:
LOL. I guess I'm not the only one that was wondering about their "title". I really am a fanatic about paper!!!

I am new to SCS and have been a SU Demo for one year. I am glad everyone was talking about titles because I missed that in the profile too. I have read forums like this before but never written anything so I hope to make it through. I hope to meet some lifelong friends here. I have heard nothing but great things about SCS!!
Actually, I thought someone had followed me on my last three trips to Xpedx (Our local, Denver area, paper store). Cardstock Collector is what my husband thinks I am.

Welcome, Sara. I have only been posting & reading posts here for a few months and already feel like I'm getting to know some very nice people. Don't be afraid to ask questions about anything and everything - I did. If you have the time and interest, join a swap! You'll really have fun.

so what is a "sticky" then anyway. you never explained and of course it is obvious to my little title that I am new and don't know these things.
"sticky" is just a post that stays at the top of that forum. The regular posts are in order by latest posting date -- and the sticky ones stay at the top even if nobody posts in it for a while. Just a way to keep important info or FAQ at the top for everybody.

Not sure how all of this works, Have just joined, i gather im a card stock collector , due to the lack of posts and will move up the lists as my posts grow!!! is that how it works Im sure of one thing, this group will teach me a great deal , because i dont know that much, but oh so willing to learn
Thanks so much for the clarification! I saw cardstock collector with my name and said "how do they know?!?!" LOL, Cheryl
Well, they don't know me because I'm listed now as a Crimping Master and I am in a place where I DO NOT like my crimper. Can't wait until I move on to another "title"
Just curious...I have 50 posts but still show cardstock collector. How/when does that change? Not that it is earthshattering in its importance but I was just curious.
Thanks
Okay, it changed with that post. This was my first post to a forum so maybe it has something to do with posting to a forum versus posting comments in the gallery.
Can anyone help me figure out why my description name hasn't changed since I reached Matboard Maniac, even though I have a little over 550 posts right now? Are there different types of posts? Thanks!
