Reason: made a mistake in name
My husband detests when I use glitter. So he decided to buy me glitter glue. His aversion is due to one of our jobs. We are the custodians at a small church. The glitter from projects ends up every where. Getting it out of indoor-outdoor type carpeting is a challenge.
well we are getting lightening and thunder. Probably should shut off the computer. have a great evening!

glitter in carpet
i've been there~had that! when i taught sunday school and the kids got glitter all over the carpet~total pain to vacuum! i understand your husband's dislike of glitter for that reason! but i still love glitter hope all is ok with the storm!
abrazos,
bella
I'm so glad I found this post. I was wondering how to get that "cardstock collector" out from under my name and now I know. Looks like I have a lot of posting to do now so I won't be known as just a "collector" - I really do use my cardstock all the time lol !
Nothing wrong with collecting cardstock but we sure can't have that title here very long!

Maybe you could have the programmer change it where if you click on your title it goes to this list and answer's their question and you would'nt have to keep answering the question over and over again every day.. Just My 2 Cents for the day ;) I love this site!
I've learned TONS of new things from this sight. Reading these are informative, imaginative and some rather funny! Personally, I'm a glitter addict. There's glitter on everything I do - and I mean everthing! My carpets, my furniture, my face, my hubby's face (tho' not sure how it got there????? ). Good things I don't have any pets!
I wish I was as creative of some of you.... I think when I can make my own post rank it would be something like........ Glue, Glitter, Glow!!!!!;)

I know what you mean. Recently, my youngest son came home from college he just rolled his eyes and said. " Mom, what are you going to do with those?." Who knows and who cares! I just have fun seeing what I can do. Have a fun day!
It is fun to hear about what other ladies are doing. Lots of times I feel isolated. I don't have any friends who are addicted to stamping. My sister was to have knee replacement surgery but it was postponed until monday. I had put away all my stamping stuff last night.
have a good evening!

You have come to the right place to make friends who enjoy stamping. One thing you can do is start a thread in the Getting Started forum saying you are from St. Paul and asking others who live there to post, maybe someone will live close to you. Also ask for references to stamping clubs, workshops etc. that you might attend to meet new people who share your interests. Go to the main web site of Stampin' Up or whatever company you are interested in to find a demo near you who holds classes. Good luck, hope this helps.
Thanks for the info. I will try your suggestions. Good to hear from others. I am saddened today by the tornado that hit the BSA Campgrounds in Iowa. My three boys are Eagle Scouts and have worked at BSA Camps. I spent many summers worried about the possibility of tragedies like this.

that was very scary to hear! i used to be involved with scouts and it's just a very shocking thing. my hubby is an eagle scout, my bil also, and my fil was a scout leader and all of my nephews have been in scouts and been to scout camps. i'm just trying to say, we're a scouting family and it rocks you to your core to hear something like this. especially in an area you wouldn't expect to hear of a tornado hitting. i hope your sister is ok too!
abrazos,
mirabella
I am still involved in Special needs scouting. I just watched a video on CNN. The entire camp seems to be devastated. I will just keep everyone in my thoughts. My son is in SE MN. He just called and said they are under flood warnings again, I am hoping for a better summer!
I like the saying. Also, my sister always says," A neat desk is a sign if a cluttered mind." She's a teacher. It sure is a beautiful day finally. I tried to make a triangle fold card. Of course, the folds didn't come out even. I'll try another day. I sure enjoy this site. I am happy that I found splitcoaststampers.
Have a fun weekend
I have hit the 2,000 comment number. Am I developing more or less of a life?
Congratulations, Kim! Think of it this way, you have earned your Masters in the College of SCS, now on to your PHD! Look at all the knowledge you have gained and can impart to others!
I'm so glad I found this post. I couldn't figure out what the name under was and was looking to "change it" to one of the other cool names. Ha, jokes on me! At least I finally got a picture uploaded!
Argh! Out of all the titles, I think I dislike "polyshrink goddess" the most. Not a huge fan of the polyshrink. Guess I'll have to post like mad to get out of this rank, lol.

Oh man..... I just got out of Stampin' Fool which I never wanted my husband to see, LOL.... and now - I'm a Mad Swapper??? Yikes!! I've never been in a swap here! I'll have to go see what's next and post something LOL!!
I remember I hated Cardstock Collector... it implied hoarding and I was NEW!! ;)
I love this little tidbit of information. I've always wondered how they decided what you were. Crimping Master indeed. Every time I try that, it comes out loblolly (that's Texas for lopsided). n
