Default Hi

Hi, my name is Shaz, and I found your forum yesterday. I was searching for some help with brayering, and found a link to your forums techniques.Under brayering, I found some really helpful tips, and also a link to a ladys 2 videos-perfect. I shall be back many times I think!! Art-stamping is much bigger in the USA than it is in England-there is a big emphasis on cute in stamping over here, and while they are lovely, it doesn't really give my creativity a buzz, lol. I have posted in the brayering section to thank everyone.

Hi Shaz and welcome from New Zealand! Glad you have found us. That is an interesting comparison between American and English stamping. Check out my gallery and see what you make of Kiwi stamping!!

Hi Parkes, thanks for the welcome. I have just been to see your gallery- so inspiring. They are truly gorgeous. I love the way they look so simple, yet it has taken real talent to make them seem that way. I am so glad that I found this forum- the wealth of knowledge & talent is amazing. It is true that in the UK, we seem split into Art or cute! Arty stamping is gradually getting more mainstream, but as a guide, we have only one monthly magazine that is devoted to Art stamping- most of the cardmaking mags are for cute, or 'put a kit together' style of cardmaking, which doesn't do it for me , I'm afraid. Most of the best magazines are American, and I do order most of my stamps from there- thank heaven for unmounted, lol.
