Red face Newbie non-stamper? :o

Hi all,

My name's Emma and I'm from the EU. I have to admit though, I'm not a stamper.... I make 3D cards and I do paper embroidery, embossing, and punching. I think I only own 1 image stamp and a set of small alphabet stamps but a lot of mini stamp pads for colour-edging my work. Despite not being a stamper, I still enjoy this site a lot! The resources are really awesome! (I came here because I was looking for new ways to fold cards.)

Anyway, I probably won't be chatting much in the forum since it's mostly on stamping, but I will be looking at your the beautiful creations for ideas and such. As well as ask for advice on how to do things or such. Thanks for your time. ;)

Hi Emma!

We love all papercrafts and you'll find lots of fun non-stamping techniques here too. I'd love to see your paper embroidery! Check out the links in my signature for instructions on uploading to your gallery here and just general site tips.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything.

Hi Emma,

You'd be surprised by how few posts there are on SCS related specifically to traditional stamping. I don't own any rubber stamps (I'm actually a digi stamper who loves to create handmade embellishments). I love the money saving tips I've gotten from here as well. The people are so nice and questions are always answered and very helpful even if I'm not the one who asked.

So sit back, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy!

Hi Emma, welcome! Most stampers here do other things with paper as well so you'll be in good company - if you can avoid getting sucked into the stamping side of things your wallet will thank you ;)

Thanks for making me feel welcome all.
And I definitely hope i don't get sucked into stamping...since I already spend a pretty penny on my 3D images, embroidery, and (dry) embossing!

Which country are you in Emma? Some European countries seem to be big on stamping and others seem to go in more for other papercrafts.
