Spellbinder Fleur De Lis trouble

I need help with the Spellbinder Fleur De Lis! Does anyone else have troulble with it not cuttiing everywhere? I use it with the cuttlebug. I use the sandwich shown in the cuttlebug book. It works on all the Nesties, but not on the shapeabilities. I run it thru back and forth several times, and it still doesn't make all the cuts. I punch out the little parts, but it doesn't cut at the big places to get the whole thing cut out! I have tried different CS in case that was the problem. I tear it up trying to get it cut out.
So any suggestions?

Have you tried using a shim?

I went to that link and found out what to do. This is what worked for me.
I ran the die thur twice, turned it a quarter, rant thru twice, turned a quarter, etc until I had done it all four ways. It worked like a dream. There was only one little hole that didn't cut all the way. But this was way better!
I am still trying to decide if I will make the Christmas card I was going to make or not... Each card would use two of these fleur di lis pendants, plus several of the smaller ones! That is a lot of cuttlebugging!!!
