Default AVATAR pictures

I've tried to upload a picture to avatar but I had to make it so small that it was nearly unrecognizable once it worked. The way I did it was to continually reduce the size by 50% or so until it was accepted. Is there a better way to do this?

I think it has to be like 80 pixels. I went into my photo program and sized it by pixels. I'm not very computer savy, but it worked. Good luck.

Default tried it

OK, I tried that. Maybe my picture just has too much "stuff" in it. The picture you have posted is so clear!

Try to cut down the pic a little bit, intead of getting your whole bodies try to do like knees or waist up, then try again. I sized my pic down first. Maybe that will work.

I had done that once but I did it again. I guess it's a little better. I probably should just pic a better picture with less in the background. I'll have to wait till I get home for that. Thanks so much for your help!
