I have uploaded a profile pic several times. Still it doesn't hwo up. Any help out there? It is small enough! I even went well below limits....and I got nothing!

I love this site! I've recently joined and I love all the techniques and advice! Oh, and, of course, all of the beautiful cards! I've been stampin for about 14 years. I was a demo in Michigan when Stampin Up! first began. Although I no longer demo, I still am addicted to Stampin Up! stamps! Now on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts.....would love to meet some stampers on the east coast! Thanks so much for this site!!!!

This may seem like a dumb question, but newbies are allowed a dumb question or two or three... anyway. What I can't figure out is how you type something below the dashed line when leaving a comment. I know I am leaving something out. Can somebody help. BTW I am very excited to be a part of this site. I have been so inspired by all of the talented stampers and their ideas. It's the best. Thanks

Found SCS a couple weeks ago...........have been amazed at all the information. Even tho I've been stamping for several years & belong to a monthly stamp club I lack creativity. I've found other web sites, but this is the best. It's been a huge booster shot for me. Don't know what I'm doing as far as "posting" messages etc. I'm not great on the computer.

Read Me First
I too am a "newbie" to the site although I actually joined over a year ago, I just discovered the message boards. I am ADDICTED and have told my DD and her girlfriend how wonderful it is. I have been stampin' for about 5 years and absolutely LOVE it. I enjoy learning new techniques and getting new ideas. This site is just awesone and the work is just phenomenal.
I do have a quickie question...how do you get the smilie icon in the body of your message? Everytime I have tried it, the smilie goes at the end of my title.

How do I reach the administrator?
I was just on the thread about faux techniques, and when I tried to click on the link regarding faux tearing, I received a message that I did not have permission to access that page. I noticed that others were able to see it. I am a paid member of the fan club, plus I have been a very nice person here so I am not sure why I am banned from certain pages. Thank you!

Hello! I am not really new but I am still really learning my way around. I don't have an avatar or signature or alot of other things yet. I haven't learned how to upload my cards either. I hope to accomplish those things soon. I have 'met' a few people here though and am having fun. I really like the tone of this site. Anyway, I had not actually introduced myself. Hi there~ I've been a "lurker" too, I tend to get caught up in everything I am seeing and forget that this can be more than just a looking experience. Of course by the time I realize that I can participate, one of the kids or my DH will come through needing something, and away I go. New - hi everyone!
Hello.
I am new and today I finally had the chance to read all the information sent in the big email -- I didn't want to do anything wrong.
Here is some information about me:
I started stamping in January 2006 and haven't looked back yet. I joined a card making group with a SU demonstrator. At the time, I swore up and down that card making was all that I was going to do. However, when I had about 50 cards made by about March -- I realized that I was going to have to find another creative outlet!! That is when I started scrapbooking. I have never taken a course and really have no style -- I guess I am a "freestyler" and just make great memories for myself. My favorite subject -- my beautiful family - 7 year old son and husband of 10 years.
I hope to learn lots from you guys -- I absolutely love looking at everyone else's ideas -- there are so many creative people out there!!

Hi I am new to Split Coast Stampers. I was in the gallery looking at 6x6 mini books and some posted a page and said she had used scrap in anmap techique to make the page. Does anyone know of this technique or could you tell me where I might find out some info on it. Thanks
