Hi Marilyn, you have my deepest sympathies - no inkling :(
There is a forum called " Site Suggestions & Questions" where you are most likely to get help for your problem. Just start a new thread. The people that look after the site tend to frequent that forum and help out with any issues.

This is my first time to add a post and I want to say how fortunate I am to have come across this site. It offers many helpful suggestions, techniques and ideas which get my creative juices flowing. However, the time that I get to spend creating cards and scrapbooking is limited ...work and life sometimes get in the way. Anyway I am a BC gal and got into card making about a year ago and am enjoying...Looking forward to the time when I can devote more time

Hey there Scrappyandhappy! Canada is such a wonderful place (so I've heard, I haven't been there yet), so much so that I got myself a man from there! My partner in crime comes from Vancouver, and is always telling me stories about how great it is there. We haven't been over there yet together as we have 6 kids, and it would cost a fortune to get there...but soon!
I look forward to getting to know you, and others on this site.
Cheers,
Tanya

Hi There Stickyfingers. Yes, you must try and get to BC sometime. It is a "beautiful" place although I understand why you cannot get here having 6 kids and all that goes with that. I have family that lives in Ont as that is where my Dad is from, so have been there a few times. Nice of you to respond to my post and I look forward to chatting with you again. Karen

Hi Samara: Yes, we are nearing the Olympics. I will likely watch on TV as I live in the interior, although I won't get the same feeling as being there. Watched the lighting of the torch in Olympia Greece. It must have been spectacular and very moving to watch an age old cermony take place. Cheers and have a great day. Karen

Hi Tanya. Yes, I am new to this site also. Some great ideas and if only I had the time. Thanks for replying to my message. I guess with you being down under, you are heading into the summer and we are going with winter, although it is a beautiful day here today. Have a great day. Karen

Hi,
Here's a great tutorial I've used by Monica Gale on You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwRcj...ssionette.html
I hope this helps.

Don't know if this has been suggested but I learned how to make bows on "forks!!!" You wind the ribbon around the outsides of the prongs and go through the inside of the fork (middle although there isn't a middle on most forks so you have to wing it) with one piece of the ribbon and come back to the front of the fork having "caught" the ribbon piece that is going horizontally (from where you started when you winded (sp) the ribbon outsid the outsides of the prongs in the beginning when you started.) Then you just tie those two ends together and voila! The bow is yummy beautiful on the back side! How, holding the forks!!!! Between the knees (yes tricky) or an 11 year old son! Works wonders...or a husband if you have one :( or a puppy in their teeth (ok, not really.) I have in my stash the babiest fork you've ever seen all the way up to an afro pick!!! I stole my salad fork and now only have a salad spoon...oh, too bad...it is for my crafts...people eating just have to understand what the priorities are!!! I've never looked but maybe Utube has a video of Bows made with forks or something like that. It is SO fun!!! Beats the utilitarianism of a bow maker (I'm not against that but I love inventing or hearing of stuff that is already in my house given that a bazillion dollars already goes out on things I can't improvise on.) I'm sure you know what I mean! Good luck. Email me if you need more help and I'll try again to explain it a different way. Sometimes it helps to take a second round at explaining the same thing. SQUISHY HUGS, Samara the Kook! xox

Ohhh Canberra is to cold for me brrr, she'll probably feel right at home coming from Canada. I'm in sunny Queensland, I hope she visits the state.
I signed my mum up here last week as well so she'll be floating around here somewhere, she is very new to forums.
Nice to meet you to you'll, have to come visit your daughter.
Everyone here is so talented and so helpful to those of us that need the easy to follow tuts, I need help sometimes more than others!

I think you're referring to this beautiful box by Dawn Lusk. Her project comments include a link to her blog, where you might find specific instructions. ;)
Also, when you spot something in the gallery that you would like to remember, just click on the open 'heart' shape directly beneath the picture. This will "favorite" the pic for you. Then, you can later go to the main gallery page and click on "My Favorites" in the left column to see those projects that you have saved as favs! HTH!

Welcome Heart of hearts! To apply a picture on your side bar Go to the top of any page and click on your SCS name. To the left of your profile page will be a list of all the items regarding your profile. Click on the one that says "edit avatar". An avatar is the picture you see on the side bar. Follow the instructions on the screen that appears. I hope this is helpful. Have fun!

Hello everyone. Oh my! I have been on here 2 different days and I seem to lose hours... I have been a SU demonstrator for 14 months. I also was a scrapbook person before doing cards. I just joined this forum but have enjoyed Splitcoast for awhile now. Love the gallery and resources. Thanks to all who share their wonderful cards and info.
