I have never been one to respond to peoples request, but I figured out how to do the Signature, but I need to go look at the rules for the signature. I notice people have links on their signatures etc. Can you point me to where the rules and regs are for the signature info? Thanks so much!

Now my signature popped up and want to make sure I am legal, etc. I don't want to be breaking any split coast rules because I really like this website and the great ideas and info I get from it! Thanks!

Hi, Marla -- Signature restrictions are mentioned under "Advertising/Solicitation" in the Forums at Splitcoaststampers, which is linked at the bottom of every SCS page.

I've tried searching this thread to find out how to make some of my words red in color, but keep getting a database error message so I guess I am doing something wrong. So, how can I make the font in my message a different color?

Smile Greetings and Salutations!

Hi, all!

This is my first attempt at posting, although I've been lurking(?) for some time, getting ideas and stuff.

To introduce myself, I have been stamping for several years and have officially gotten to the point where I refuse to buy store-bought cards, even though they might be cheaper in the long run, especially when I have to buy a new toy just to make a card. I have a great hubby and two children, although they aren't really children, being 16 and 22.

Thank you to all the folks who have given me great ideas so far!

Default Post to the challenges

I was able to download my pciture with no problem to my gallery and received the approval e-mail but when I try to link my picture on the challenge (sc210) I get an error msg that states I can't link until I have done 3 postings. Why is this?

I uploaded my card to my gallery but don't know how to link it to the Christmas card challenge or get it to show on the recent upload page. Thanks, I am new at all of this.

First time for me also and hope I'm doing this correctly. Would like to know if anyone else likes to purchase clearance notecards to use to make their own cards. I just bought several sets of beautiful notecards at Michael's, reduced to 50 cents/8. Any ideas??

Hi lulubelle55!

I think you might get some responses to your topic if you were to post your question as a new thread in the General Stamping forum. Just click on the colored letters to go there, then start a new thread by clicking on "New Thread" near the top left about an inch down the page.

I do know that I started at the top where it shows gallery and this
has been a big help for me I am still new at this too have not learn
how to really get in touch with other cardmakers and scrapbookers
but I notice on a daily basis in just the gallery there is 100 of new ideas. Also you can search with what ever stamp set or name of stamp company
and it will direct you to ideas made from those stamps.. I love it, have fun surfin. Tina Robinson

Default Diaper cakes....

Hi,
I registered with splitcoaststampers some time ago but I finally decided to jump on the bandwagon and post a note.
I saw the posts for several diaper cakes the other day and since have created three. One is triple tiered for my daughter-in-law and my son's baby shower this weekend. I placed a nice bottle of French wine in the center surrounded by layered diapers instead of rolled. It is absolutely gorgeous!
The other two are double tiered, one is baby blue for an out of town family member's baby shower for my son and a pink and chocolate brown on for my niece in Southern California.
This will be my new morning inspiration site.
As you all know our climate has changed this winter. Some states are frozen solid and others like Northern California are sunny and very warm. Keep busy and stay creative. May you all be safe and comfortable in 2009.
Thanks all.

To the group,

Thanks for the welcome. I too am a hands on person or at least feel like I need someone to tell me how to do it. So this is interesting. I am still looking around and this is DEFINITELY a community that just happens to have the same addiction.

Take Care,
Elizabeth

Is there a forum or thread that we can access on getting advice for selling what we have created? I recently have lost my job after 29 years and feeling the economy crunch, I'd like to supplement my husbands income with a little of my own whatever it may be. I was hoping for a thread or forum that might discuss this and the successes others are having, or ideas etc...

If this forum doesn''t exist would I be allowed to start one?

Hello Karen!

While we do not have a specific forum for your topic, you are welcome to start your own thread in which to discuss & share ideas related to your situation. Certainly there must be others here with similar wishes.

Here's a Forums at Splitcoaststampers of our forums. As you browse through a few, check to see which one you feel is the most likely to generate responses, then start your discussion thread in that forum. Best wishes to you as you seek new ideas and opportunities!

Only if you post a note/message to it.

Oh, and you can easily unsubscribe to the thread by clicking on thread tools and choosing unsubscribe.

You can also look at the threads you're sub'd to by going to quick links (top right) and in pull down selecting subscribed threads.

Hope that helps! Welcome welcome to SCS!
