"additional info". At the very bottom of the box is a list that says

I hope this works for you.

Hi, D Judy, Thanks for the help. I didn't get it the first time because I hadn't logged on yet. Without logging on [just viewing] the add to favorites does not appear Thanks again BJ

How do I stop getting everyone's reply to post comments. Last time I made a comment, I continued to get 30-40 comments from others for days. Did I accidentally get into a wrong designation. HELP Please!!

Exclamation New Stamper, stumped already....

Where to begin?

That's my biggest problem. I am an "inkling," having never card crafted or memory booked (EVER!) before. Recently got invited to a SU! event and I just spent bookoo $$ getting all this really cool paper/ink/stamps stuff...and I don't know what to do with it all. lotsa vague ideas and crafty hints, but really NO CLUE!

so I guess you could say I'm a "stamp tramp" trapped in a "vellum virgin" world.

o and BTW, I'm stationed in Japan, and don't speak enough of the language to ask "where's the craft/stamp store?" So I am clinging to my old pal "internet shopping & crafter's anonymous." The SU! lady who showed me this website is moving back to the States. This looks like a great resource and idea site, but I am overwhelmed.

HELLLLLLLLLP!

Hi Tokyo Tess, Welcome to SCS! I know how confusing and discouraging it can be when you are learning a new craft especially without having hands on help. I think you will find lots of help here as I have. I would suggest clicking on *resources* found at the top of the page. Once in resources there are several links to projects, techniques, starting out, etc. I think you'll find lots of tutorials that will help with most every thing you may want to do. If you have any questions about the tutorials or any other paper crafting question check out the forums as you have already done with this post! Be patient, and just start exploring this site and you'll eventually come across the information you need. Have fun! Judy

Hi brooklyn52, I'm not sure but I think each time you get a notification by e-mail, there is an address to click on to get out of the thread. It is located just below the comment.[highlighted in blue] Hope this helps. BJ

Thanks Judy, U R da bomb! you were right. The resources and lots of tutorials (love the step-by-step visuals) were extremely helpful! Awesome, now I can't wait to get started on the basics and slowly work my way into more advanced (who'dda thunk you can use crayons & bleach) papercrafting. LOVE IT! now I gotta get the embossing pwdr and the heat gun, etc.

Is this site only for SU stamps or resources? Is there a site for The Angel Company?

Hi Pauline!

First ... I must say ... I rarely meet someone named "Pauline"! That was my Mom's name! Wow!

Next : A "bump" is merely the poster's effort to move their thread to the "top" of whatever forum it is in. Swappers and sellers in BST are often seen "bumping" their threads. Due to our huge number of members here at SCS, we actually recommend only 1 bump per 24 hours to a thread. Hope this helps! (HTH!)

I never knew anyone named Pauline til I went to work at 16 and met heaps of Pauline's.

No, you merely write in the word "bump" as a post to a thread. There is nothing else one must do. If you wish to bump a thread to the top of its forum, just "reply" with "bump".

Love using my Nestabilities and looking to purchase more. It sure is fun and really enjoy meeting so many interesting and fun people who are as addicted as I am, if not more, to this craft.

What does it mean to "subscribe to a thread"? How much different is it to actually "posting" to a thread? I can post, and read the forums ok, so what difference does subscribing do?

Default latest tutorial

Hi there!
I have been a member for quite awhile but have mainly used site for ideas and the instructions are so clear. So here I am with my first question: For the pop up card - how do you get it to stand properly without it "bouncing"?
Thanks for your help! AW

Did your question get answered?? there is no difference, as far as I know...posting to a thread automatically subscribes you to the thread--they are the same. But the only way to subscribe (meaning get email updates with posts from the thread) is to post on the thread yourself. Hope I didn't confuse you even more. If you posted you're subscribed Then just go to thread tools to unsubscribe.

I am very new to this and not sure about answering
people back.
Thanks for your e-mail but I am very lost.
Have a wonderful day!
