Default Cutting question

I know a number of people have said they mounted the flower and stem from "All the Best" separately. My question is, has anyone mounted both the flower and stem on the same side of the wood block, next to each other? If so, please let me know how that worked out for you.

And now I know what Jenn means when she says the SU scissors cut "like buttah"!!!

I am having such a fun day here!

I just got my babies back last night - my new recruit borrowed them till her starter kit came in. I was in withdrawals - had several sets to mount. . . and could not even begin to think about using inferior scissors to get them done! I need to get another pair. What's a girl to do with new rubber on a shelf, and no scissors to trim them with?

Do tell on the mounting. I want to redo my flower - tired of the marker thing.

Bringing this to the top . . . I have mounted all but that flower. I'm hoping to hear from someone who might have mounted the stem and flower side by side on the same block before I do that myself.

I mounted my stem on the side. It just fits. I'd worry about getting ink on it accidently & then having a red stem or edge of leaf on a project.

so you are you girls saying that the craft & rubber scissors are a must have item?
I haven't bought a pair yet, needed to hear from someone that they are worth it, i guess.

Craft and Rubber scissors are a must have!! I bring them to workshops, and those that don't have them order them! I wouldn't use anything else.
