I was approved the day I sent my paperwork......PM Jenn and she'll get ya in there.....
Woohoo! How exciting, hey? My kit is due to arrive any day (hopefully tomorrow) so I hope to be up to my ears in rubber this weekend!
Now let's pray......we're not our best/only customers! (Although I did the math....for me it would be $75 per pay. EASY PEASY!! LOL)

Iris....check it out. I was testing my powers. LOL
You should be in the SU demo usergroup now. Go to forum and see if you can see it. Please report back. Never done it before.
Jenn has an optometrist appointment and I don't want you to have to wait!
Hugs and smiles.

Oh geeez
My computer was running a lot slower than I am right now (wonder why) and I posted my comment to Beate twice...ugh
Debbi - I went into the demo forum just to see if it was there, wow, so much to see, I may never come out of my puter room again! I know what ya mean about the hobby part, I work a full time job now 45 min. drive one way 5 days a week, and I ain't no spring chicken! Hopefully in the near future it will bloom into a business for me, that's what I'm counting on anyway.
Thanks Joy - I'm so excited about this...now I think it's a 2 week wait for the kit

I did it, too!
After getting tons of help from the women here on what colors and stamp sets to pick for my kit, I sent my paperwork on Tuesday! Got my demo number Friday!!! It would have been Thursday, but I made a mistake with my Starter Kit order and they had to straighten it out. I can't BELIEVE it was so fast!! First thing I did was ask for approval at the demo-only forums here, and I got in almost immediately!!!
Beate, you and Jenn ROCK!!! I love this place!!!
I just wanted to say welcome from one VERY new newbie to another!

I was VERY surprised that it was that quick. In fact, Beate and others here told me to call Thursday, that it was likely to be done by then. Well, it WOULD HAVE been, but I asked on the order form for the black Stampin Journaler pens, instead of one of the colored ones, and it has to be a colored one. So they wanted to know what color of pen I wanted before they could enter the order into the system. Apparently that's the first step of keying in the stuff.
So I had to wait a whole TWELVE HOURS MORE!!!!!
It was agony, I tell you!
So today I've been playing with my stuff from my last order from my upline!!! Now I've got my VERY OWN DISCOUNT!!!
I hope it's soon for you, too. You should call on Monday -- 1-800-STAMP-UP.

Congrats on becoming a demo. I was so excited that I overnighted my papers to them and called them the day after and they had me in the computer and my kit was on it's way. The funny thing is I did not get to play with my kit until a week later. I am still goin through it. When the ups man delivered I was so excited that I went out the door in a hurry and did not see this hudge wasp on the door nob. Well I grabbed it and it stung me(I am very allergic to bees). I was unable to carry the box inside. The ups man left it on the bench outside and I had to call my husband home early from work to get it off the bench and to help me with the kids because I was already starting to swell. I took my meds and waited for the swelling to go down enough for me to get dressed to go out to dinner with my husband' sfire brigade team. Each day was a different surprise for me not to play with my stuff and I just cute up my stamps this past thursday. Hope you have better luck!!! That is what I get for being toooooo anxious though.

Congratulations!!! I just got my kit on friday!
So many of us are signing up, its awsome. Didn't play with my new stamps much, decided I needed to make card samples of the ones I already had. I did cut them all out, except for the alphabet. Now theres alot of cutting, you are going to love those sissors!!

Thanks for the congratulations, all!
Pam, sorry that you don't have your demo number yet. I HATE WAITING!!!
I am already loving the rubber-cutting scissors -- I don't have my kit yet, but I already have the scissors. I bought them from my upline a few months ago. I am a klutz, so I wanted the best tools possible to make it easier for me NOT to ruin a stamp set. (I haven't cut into a stamp yet, and I'm DREADING it. I know it will happen. I'm just not very coordinated!)

Yep. I've already promised them to a friend of mine. I told her not to bother with cheapos -- I got lucky and had some money during Sellabration last year, so I ordered them with my first SU stamp sets. So I've never used anything else. I've only heard horror stories.
So if anyone is on the fence about getting these, DO NOT hesitate. They're great.
