Hi Everyone, I am new to this kind of website. I'm not real sure how to find some of the technique's that I have seen on your cards. Looking at your cards makes mine look pretty plain. My Mother-in-Law loves the cards I make for her, so I guess that is good.
About me, let's see. I guess you can tell by my title I am a Grammy to two of the best little boy's around, love them so much. I have tons of picture's of them and that's how I got into scrapbooking, now for the past two years I have been making cards. I try to learn new things all the time. I am also a Mother to a daughter - 27, and a son - 25, both of them married. My daughter is the one with the boys.
My husband says my room looks like a store, but, I just can't get enough of all the new things out there to do. He likes looking at cards and the scrapbook. He says he would never have the patience to do all of the detail work, so he does like that I have a hobby.
Hope to learn new things from all of you.
Cindy
Welcome to Splitcoast Stampers. You will enjoy "surfin" here. There are lots of instructions and templates available. It does take a bit of learning to find things.
FREE SEARCH LESSON: (Ordinarily I charge exorbitant fees for my work. LOL) When you see an item in the gallery (designs, templates, instructions) and want to find if it is available, just click back here to the Forums. Try the Techniques forum or the Resouces forum. Then click on the button "Search This Forum," type in a word and click "go."
Sometimes it works better to click "Advanced Search" before typing your word -- it pops up when you have clicked Search This Forum and it gives you more options.
Hope This Helps!
Many of the techniques have "Tutorials". At the top right of any SCS (Splitcoaststampers) page, you'll see some links "home, gallery, forums, resources, news, store, about". Click on "resources". That's where all the tutorials are! THey do a very nice job with photos and everything. I find them very helpful!
Enjoy SCS, and don't be afraid to ask questions! Chances are someone on this board will have the answer!

Hello, I am a Grandmother also. I have 7 now and I know what you mean about the pictures. The one Grandson that lives in town with us, and the one we see all the time has the most. We have a digital camera and we have hundreds of him.
SCS is the BEST website on the internet and always will be. Looking at all the cards is a great way to get inspired and learn new things. It is also very addictive and so far, there is no self help groups for us lost souls. Once your hooked...your hooked!
Welcome to SCS from Spokane Washington!
