Smile Hi..Newbie from INDIA !!
Hi friends..My name is Riti Poddar and i am from India. I love scrapbooking, card making, altering & other paper crafts. I got into cardmaking since i was in junior school and since then i'm all stuck on it. Well unfortunately we don't really get any such scrapbooking supplies here in India. No yummy papers..no cricuts or cuttlebugs..no zutters..no eyelets..no rub ons..nothing at all. Infact a store has jst started keeping jst a handful of these stuff like papers (very few)..and eyelets. But a scrapaddict like me..always needs more n more n more...lol. Although we do get a lot of handmade paper here in india..a lot of variety. I have a few friends through another scrapbooking MB..from Venice Florida who took care of my scrapbooking needs..she used to send me a whole lotta stuff from there.(Ofcourse i paid her for all of that ) ok a lil bit more about me. I am married for 4 1/2 yrs now..& planning for a baby now. Whoa did i say i'm excited. Well for starters i guess this is it.. if anyone wants to know more..please feel free to ask me..i'll be really glad to answer all their queries. Have a Nice day/night all of u.

hi Jeanie..i'm from the Eastern part of india..from a city called Kolkata ! Yeah it is exciting to plan for a new life..new begining all together..i haven't yet concieved. I hv to go in for an HSG in a couple of days..jst keeping my fingers crossed !!!!!

It is so amazing to be able to be connected through the internet, isn't it?!

I had a chance to find Kolkata on Google maps. I have only just heard about GoogleEarth, which is a free download. It allows people to see many different places around the world from different angles ... some even street level! I'll see what I can see from there, too.

I would love to ask you many questions about where you live and what your life is like. I'm afraid I am too nosy! LOL! I am from the Madison, WI area in the U.S. and I teach third grade (eight and nine year olds). Would you be interested in allowing my students to ask you questions about your city and your life there? If this interests you, please send me a pm and I can send you my school email address.

Parkes: i sooooo love New Zealand. I hv been to Australia & New Zealand in 2003 in May. And have such wonderful memories of it!!! Infact the day i landed in NZ..it started snowing..& since we dont have snow whr i live it was a beautiful sight for me.. snow snow everywhere.. all around me.. the lush green lawns turned white within mins..as if a magic spell was put on it!!! wow.....sooooooo pretty!! would love to come to Aus & NZ AGAIN !!!!
