Newbie from Kansas
Hi everyone,
My name is Angie and I've been addicted to this site for a couple months, so I decided since I am having so much fun here from the "outside" I might as well join and get to know you awesome stampers, make some friendships and learn a lot of techniques. I am contemplating on becoming a SU demo (have been for the last year), and actually might sign up this month. I am a hobbyist (for now) and am nervous that I won't be able to make my quarterly quota since my pockets aren't that deep!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Well, I just wanted to introduce myself and finally say I signed up at SCS.
I have also tried to upload my first photo and I get a warning message, something about a failure, so instead of taking it personally , anyone with some ideas out there, I would love to hear them.
Blessings to you all, Angie.

Welcome! I know they are making some site adjustments today. I can't get into the gallery and I've read some others have had difficulty today too. But hang in there, they always get things fixed and then it's even better than before!
I'm not a demo so I can't give any advice about that part. Just wanted to say I'm glad you are here!

Welcome fellow Kansan! The gallery is having problems today, hopefully tomorrow will be better. Where in Kansas are you from? I am Wichita area. SU regionals are in KC this March so if you sign up you'd be able to go! Later

Angie!
Welcome with open arms! We are a nice group and just ask questions if you need to know anything. I or anyone else will be more than happy to help you out! Sometimes SCS can be a bit overwhelming to newbies. Just ask if you need anything!
Hugs

I live in McPherson, but used to live in Wichita before we moved here 7 years ago. I wanted a safer and smaller community to raise our 2 children.

Hi Angie! Welcome to SCS. If you just want to be a hobby demo for SU! maybe you could start by showing family and friends how to make cards. One of my co-workers is my best customer. If you sell $100 a month you will meet your quota. Hope this helps.

Welcome from the midwest and thanks for introducing your self... the gallery is a little "off" today shall we say... As far as being a demo... my daughter has been for a year anf loves it...she is lucky and has a group of seven...I trhink... that is growing, they all spend $$ each month and that helps her to meet her quota... she has always been way over hers.... and sharing her creativity makes her happy and learning new things is great, Good Luck and this month is a great time to join...

Welcome! I too am contemplating becoming a SU! demo (AGAIN) as I quit a couple of years ago because of the quota. My upline was not very active so I didn't have very good support. But I think I have a handle on it now. The club idea seems to be a great way to keep you active... I will most likely sign up again this month because of the special. Anyway, welcome to you and happy stamping!

Detroit...KS
Hi, Angie! I live in the big town of Detroit, KS, which is between Junction City and Abilene. LOVE the SB store in McPherson. My sister lives in Hutch, so we meet in McPherson sometimes for lunch and the SB store.
I have been addicted to SU for a year and this site once I found out about it. I am planning to sign up this month as a demo, but mostly will buy for myself and sell to a few friends, my sis, and a few of her friends.
