Newbie here

I just discovered this site and really don't know what I'm doing. I started a gallery with a few cards and ATCs but haven't gathered enough info to know how to find a group I fit in with. I like the Crafters of Faith but don't see how to join them. Also, are there any ATC groups or swaps here?

If someone has any helpful advice, I need it.

So glad to be a part of this--lots of inspiration on this site!!

Hi Deborah! Welcome to Splitcoast!

I think Crafters of Faith is a swap group, right? So, to join the swap forum, which will allow you to post on swap threads, start over on the left hand side of this site, where there are a couple of boxes, one of which says "around the site." There's a link in there called "Join a group." You can read more about that here. Specifically, there's certain info you need to add to your SCS profile and an application to complete.

Note that applications to join are only processed Monday through Friday. Also, I don't think that you get notification once you're approved. You can check back at the "join a group" link (because once you're in, I think the swap group will move down show you're in it, rather than showing as available to join), or you can just try to post in the swap forum.

There is an ATC sub-group in the swap forum, but that isn't my jam, so I don't know much more about them than that!

Happy crafting!

Hi and welcome to SCS!
I like your work a lot. I have never seen someone work on microscope glass before!

There is a TON to do here-all kinds of challenges (everyday), sways, boards to chat and learn on, weekly tutorials (see up in the right corner for them) and special challenges during the year. It will take you a bit to poke around it all. I am still learning after years. I like the tool, technique and organization boards-I learn a lot there.

I look forward to seeing more of your work!
