I am a new member to the SCS board and just signed up to be a Stampin Up Demonstrator.
I am from Niles, MI and have two boys 7 and 10. I am married to a wonderful husband for 13 years. I have been cardmaking for about a year and have just recently started utilizing my stamps with scrapbooking and love it. I look forward to sharing ideas and meeting new friends.
I really enjoy looking at the gallery all your work gives me lots of inspiration!
Hi Angie-
Welcome to SCS! It's the best place on earth!! I'm in Michigan too - Dexter (just west of Ann Arbor). I'm not a demo, but have become addicted to SCS and stamping. There are several of us here from MI!!
You're going to love it here. Some advice...Don't sign on in the mornings if you have to get the kids out the door on time for school  Trust me, you start having such fun looking at all the latest samples, time will definitely get away from you!
You will get some great ideas here and you will also find that there are so many helpful, friendly ladies who will answer any Q's you have.
If you don't have a comfortable chair, you may want to invest in one! You will probably spend a lot of time sitting in front of you screen ooohing and aaahing over the great cards.
Hi Angie!
Welcome to SCS site! I agree w/ all the other posts, don't try to jump on when you only have a few minutes. I'm from MI also - Lansing. I hope you enjoy. Lela
Welcome! You will love this place and find it addictive. I'm not from MI but spend summers in Traverse City. And to Lara, I have fond memories of working at CSI just outside of Dexter. Lots of stampers in MI!
Welcome, Angie. I live in Jackson - about 45 miles west of Ann Arbor and 35 miles south of Lansing. Don't you just love this site! Have fun looking around!

Another Michgian (Shelby Twp.) stamper here. You'll have a great time here and you'll learn so much your brain won't be able to absorb it all. I think that's why computers were invented so it can do the absorbing for you to find later. I've saved more tutroials than I'll ever get to in this lifetime.
Enjoy,
Rox
It's about time the weather improved in this state!
HI Angie, Welcome to SCS. I'm from Dorr just south of Grand Rapids. Have you ever heard about the Holland Spring Seminar? Well it's a grea place to meet a lot of other Demonstrators. Here is a link to information, just click on Holland Spring Seminar:
Lara,
I guess I should have explained a bit more. Would you believe I lived in Toledo and commuted to Dexter! 54 miles door to door. It was a great job and worth the drive. I have never been a full time resident of MI, but have spent summers in TC all my life. My neighbor up there is the one who introduced me to SU and stamping.
Welcome to SCS! I live in Granger but I go to church in Niles. I once saw a woman carrying an SU bag at church. You wouldn't happen to go to FMC in Niles? If so, I'd love to hook up with you! I've been wanting to start a card ministry at the church and could use some help, if you're interested....and if you are the lady I saw at church

I too am new to SCS, I have been doing SU for almost 2 years now. I live in St. Louis with my two kids, 3 and 1 and my husband of five years. I love this site but whoo, it takes up a lot of my time now!
