Hi all,
My name is Suan and I am from Yorkshire in the UK.
I started making cards in 2009 (still learning).
I love making decoupage cards and so have learned to do my own decopage sheets.
Steve (my hubby) has converted a spare room into a craft room for me.
I'm not really into stamping, have really tried but not much good at it. (Maybe a few hints and tips would help).
I will be posting a few of my decoupage sheets to share once I get the hang of it.
I have attached one with this message, hope it works.:???:

Hi Suan, and a warm welcome from New Zealand! Your decoupage sheet came through fine! It looks lovely. My sister has done decoupage and I really admire the results. How wonderful to have your own craft room! Feel free to ask any of about stamping. You can send a pm (personal message) by clicking on anyone's name and selecting the pm option.

Hi Susan! Welcome to the forum. You will spend a lot of time here...trust me;)
and pick up so many great ideas. I'm originally from the UK and when I was visiting the family last year, found an awesome paper crafting store and the decoupage sheets....oh man, if only I had that extra suitcase!:p
Thank-you for sharing your design, it is lovely. What sort of paper do you print your own designs on?

Hi, Suan, and welcome. Your decoupage is lovely, and it looks like you invested a lot of time in it. If I sound ignorant with my next question, it's just because I am, LOL - what do you do with your decoupage once you're done? I've seen many things covered in decoupage (which I took to be designs and pictures cut out of paper and adhered to another surface, usually something 3D), but never seen a sheet like yours as a finished project.

As far as SCS - have fun with it. Since you're just starting out, you'll find lots of helpful info to guide you. It's JAS (just a suggestion), but as a newbie, you may enjoy the resources section, top of this page on the right, fourth selection next to "forums." Of course the forums are all good, too. And then there's the gallery....

I hope you enjoy your time here.

Not quite used to so many people answering. Thankyou.
I would print my flowers onto photo paper as it gives it that extra sheen.
The flowers make lovely mothers day cards. Here's another one to test your appetite. It is for the more experienced crafter, hope you like it.

Wow, Suan. That butterfly and flower wreath is just gorgeous. I can see you would have to be pretty nifty with the scissors with that one!
