Hi Jen,
Just wanted to welcome you. I'm new myself so haven't ventured into the world of uploading to a gallery yet, so I'm no help to you on that. Everyone is so helpful to one another on this site though, that I'm sure I'll be looking at your successful uploads to your gallery in no time.

If you have joined then you should be able to go to the gallery then upload photos (on the right side). It has been several months since I joined so can't remember exactly-sorry! If you just play around with the different tabs I am sure you can figure it out. If you have any problems then you can post a question on the site suggestions and questions.
Glad you decided to come and join us!

Hi Jen, welcome!

To begin uploading photos, click on the 'gallery' button at the top of the page, then click 'my albums', then 'create a new album'. Fill in the requested info and click the 'create new album' button. Next click 'upload photos'. There will be a section that says "Select the photos you wish to upload from your computer:" and three bars with 'browse' buttons. Click the 'browse' button and use the menu that pops up to navigate to the file you wish to upload. Click on the file and press the 'open' button on the menu. This will put the name of the file in the bar on the 'upload photos' page, fill out the remaining information on the page and then click the 'upload/submit' button at the bottom. Your uploaded photos will be held briefly until approved by a moderator.

Let me know if I need to clarify any steps in this procedure, I tried to be as coherent as possible. Hope this helps!

Olivia

Default Welcome!

:-D Welcome, Jen. There are a few threads that should be helpful.
First try >stamping stuff > start here. Look at all the *sticky* threads.
This thread has links to many others. Just Getting Started????? Here is a post FULL of helpful links!
ALso try reading this specific thread for info on how to uploadSplitcoaststampers > Stamping Stuff > Announcements If You Share Your Art In the Gallery. . . Please Read

I did not include the hyperlinks so you will have to the forums and navigate around a bit. Another way to find info is to do a search on the thread. I often find answers to questions this way. Good luck! Have fun!!

Thanks for replying to me! Ya'll are awesome, I never expected that many replies, I now have a little better idea how to start. I have one important question. I have noticed that most people use stampin up stamps on their art, are these the only kind you can use on the images you upload on this site?

Welcome to SCS. You can use any make of stamps and then upload your cards. There are a lot of SU demonstrators so they mainly use SU stamps. Have fun here, always something new going on and you will learn wonderful new techniques.
