Default New to stamping and card making

Hello! I just started making cards and have a question. I am using tombow tape to adhere my card stock together but it doesn't seem to be holding. The next day, it is popping off. Is there some other adhesive I should use? Thank you!!

Hi and welcome from New Zealand! Generally those tape runner-type adhesives are not strong enough for layering card stock. I always use double-sided tape. Double-sided tape is a bit more fiddly as you have to peel off the backing strip but the adhesive is much stronger. Hope this helps!

Parkes is right about the double-sided tape. Also, you might want to try using the Tombow Mono Multi liquid adhesive in the green and white bottle. You can run just a tiny line about 1/4" inside the edge of your layers and it will hold well.

I used it when I first started making cards and liked it. Then I moved on to the ATG gun which rolls an adhesive onto your cardstock. It's my favorite of all to use.

And a warm welcome to SCS and this wonderful hobby!

Default Thank you!

Thank you so much! I am going to get the double sided tape and the glue to have in my arsenal. This is so much fun!
