Hi there from Canada, too!
I'm as new to this as an unopened ink pad, but wanted to say a special "Hello" to Armywife 222! I'm an ex-Army wife, as my husband just retired from the CF recently. Love to stamp but I wish my job let me have more time to play around with all the fun stuff. See ya later...

Welcome!
It's always nice to see some Canadian faces here, especially Alberta ones! (Well, at least I'm assuming we'll be seeing your avatars soon!)

The temp here has been in the low to mid 20s for the past few days. We have a lovely river valley park system with walking and hiking trails. Lots of festivals and activities in the summer. You can drive to the mountains.
People here are great! Big celebrations this year as Alberta celebrates its centennial.
Only sales tax is GST (no HST or PST), plus income tax is lower than NS, so you'll have more money for stamps.
PM me for more details or if you have questions.

Hi!!
I agree with Gail, Edmonton is a great city! The people are what make it so warm and welcoming. Edmonton is also known as Festival City. As well, Jasper is only a short drive, and you could easily be in Banff by lunch, if you like to ski or hike in the summer. Yes, we have cooler winters, but the sun is always shining. And there are plenty of SU! demos here to keep you in stamps and ink! Nice to hear from you!!
