New from Spokane, WA
Hi there,
I am a "newbie" to this site but not too "new" to stamping. My demo sent me this way, and what can I say...it's great! So much so that after a few days of "playing" here I decided I needed to become a demo, much to my demo's suprise I am sure. I am a mom to 3 special needs boys ages 8,6,a nd 2 1/2. Anyone else out there a special needs mom? Stamping is my relaxation and a way for me to "un-stress" when the medical world becomes to over whelming! (which it tends to do most of the time). I am looking for another stamper in my area since my demo is in Post Falls, ID which is not too far away, but far enough to not be able to "reach out and touch". I also used to be a CTMH demo a few years ago, but decided to leave when they started making changes I was not happy with. Since then I have been a SU loyalist! Hope to hear from someone soon!

I am also a "newbie" I just signed my papers today to become a demonstrator!!! Love stamping. I live in Gig Harbor, WA. Kudos to you Ellie for having the time to stamp with your 3 special needs kiddos! My daughter-in-law has 3 girls with the youngest with Downs and right now, she is on her own as my son is in Baghdad! She doesn't get much time to herself but cherishes every moment when she does!!

Homesick for Spokane!
Hi, Ellie. Welcome to the SCS, a great place for stampers, especially SU. I lived in Spokane for 20 years after being stationed at Fairchild. I know lots of stampers and a few demos, but the best does monthly stamp camps at the YWCA on Friday evenings. If you want more information, I'll try to get you together. I moved to Florida in Nov. 2003 for some silly old reason. Oh, I remember, my DH had found a job here! High-tech jobs went away from Spokane, so here we are. Enjoy this site and being a demo. Kathy

Hi Ellie, from someone born and raised in the South end of Seattle, but now lives (as I like to call it) on the wrong coast as in the east coast. My entire family still lives in WA. Oh how I miss it... Welcome, it won't be long and you too will become a addict.. This site is one of the best sites I have ever "lurked" on...
Jen, I would be your rival.. I lived lived on 61st st up on the hill, went to Rainier Beach, when it was known as RB Jr, Sr High School (did that age me  ) or what. Then I got married went to Thailand, then Germany and now we are on the east coast. With 2 DD and SIL's plus the bonus of GC, don't think we are going to be leaving anytime soon.
Going to get to see my family in April we are all meeting to go on a cruise... can't wait to see them all and to have my family met my 2 SIL's and GC.. YEAP I'm a grandma. Look to the left and see two of my cutie pies, have another one due some time in August...
Anyway got off the subject here… WELCOME to the SCS the best place to get inspired from these oh so talented ladies…

Also, I am not only near to Spokane (approx. 45 mins. west) but I have a Hostess Of The Month group that meets in Spokane every 3rd Sunday from 3-5ish You are more than welcome to join us.
