Cool New Stamper

Hello from beautiful Colorado! I've been sucked into this site for several hours now and am just amazed at all of the talented artists that are on this site!

I'm fairly new to the art of stamping and card making, and am loving what I have learned thus far. I have been scrapping for a few years and am just itching to use my stamps to scrapbook. I have two very young boys, Harland (age 3) and Christopher (22 months).

One very basic question that I have for all of you experienced stampers out there is what are some of the various diminsions that you cut your cardstock to so that it will fit in all of the various size envelopes? I'm familiar with the dimensions for the basic 'medium' envelope size (quarter-page card), but would like to know what dimensions to use for the large, extra large, Medium square and large square.

Thanks so much!

Linda

I'm fairly new too but there are so many resources here. If I had the question, which is a dern good question if I do say so, this would be the first place I'd come.

Maybe in the Techniques and Templates board?

I ususally cut the card 1/4 inch smaller all around...i.e.: if you have a 5 x 5 envelope, cut your cardstock 4 3/4 x 9 1/2, when it is folded it will be 4 3/4 x 4 3/4. Hope that helps.
Welcome aboard & hope you have a comfotable chair as said in previous posts.
