I've been hearing about this site for a long time, even joined awhile back, but just didn't want to invest the time yet. However, with the kids home for two weeks, and they are teens, well, I have a little time and I think I need a little inspiration. My stamping table is full of junk (because of Christmas stuff, temporary but frustrating) so I only have a small area to work in - this dampens my desire to stamp for the moment. I did have to make a birthday card the other day; played with the watercolors and aqua painters I got a couple weeks ago, and was happy with the result. But it's just too cramped in there right now. So I thought I'd spend some time poking around here, looking at samples, and checking out techniques. I've been getting the TJ magazine for awhile, not saying I've tried everything! LOL

Anyone else from the South Bay area of Northern California?

Welcome. This is the best site I've found and the most favorite one to visit everyday.

Welcome, Kathy! As you will quickly find out, you'll be addictive to this site just as many of us have.

Used to work on Almaden in downtown San Jose. Yes, I commuted from Salinas for two years until I hit my head against the wall and thought, hey I could work closer!

Hi Kathy! And welcome.

I live in Mountain View. More penisula than South Bay, but close! There are a lot of South Bay people who are regulars here.
