Hi! I've been on SCS for about 2 weeks now and an SU! customer for about 2 1/2 years! I'm buiding up my courage to join a swap (also trying to build up my cardstock inventory!!). I was just wondering what it means when swap directions say 10+1, 12+1, etc. Why not just 11 or 13?? Sorry, I'm a newbie!!
BTW - I'm already addicted - thanks for all your hard work SplitCoasters!
Swap # + 1 means that you will send the total number of swaps requested but will only get back the # swaps. The additional 1 is for the person hosting the swap since it does take a lot of time to host a swap. I hope that helps clear it up for you.
And sometimes you will just see a swap for 5 or 10 or however many participants... that means the hostess is participating in the swap. In the ones +1, the hostess does not participate.
