Newbie From Minnesota . . . Just Wanted To Say Hello
Hello Everyone:
I am new to SCS and to SU. I have been hanging out here for a few weeks now . . . signed up for two swaps . . . bought two stamp sets and some crayons . . . and now I am feeling comfortable enough to say hello to everyone and say thanks for making me feel so welcome here.
I have been scrapbooking and cardmaking for about five years, and have just been formally introduced to SU and have signed on to be a demonstrator to make my card making to a new level. I bought my one and only SU stamp set (Bear Neccessities) via a book party six years ago . . . and never really learned how to use it. I don't stamp too well but am really opening to learning. I have to admit that I am more of a Prima Flower junkie. Well I just got my SU demo boxes today and am really excited to learn how to use all the great stuff I got.
So maybe you can introduce yourselves to me and tell me what your favorite stamping techniques are and how you did them.
I'm so glad that you are introducing yourself. Congratulations on joining two swaps--I know that you will love the cards that you receive. There are so many talented and creative stampers here.
That is awesome that you signed up to become a demonstrator. I'm not a demo, but I know there is a demo only feature here at SCS. You can probably pm one of the mods and she can tell you how to sign up for it.
Hello! Welcome to SCS! Congrats on becoming a demo. Did you check out the "Resources" area? There are many different techniques to try in there. One of my favorite is the shaker cards.

Welcome welcome! I am a demo and I'm from Woodbury. Are you going to the SU! regional in Minneapolis? We have lots of fun events around here, so I hope we get to meet sometime.
Hello ladies . . . thanks so much for responding to my post. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone and having fun stamping. I just joined a group today and am really excited about my swaps.
I'm new here too! I am in rural central MN. I was a SU demo several years ago but due to adding two children and moving I had to let it go for awhile. I just sent off my paperwork to start being an SU again. I did my research and found that there is NO_ONE in my area that sells SU. so I have a HUGE market niche I need to tap into! I am very excited to start this new venture and Cant wait to learn new things and meet new people!
